UPDATE: HC.gov running into tech issues on 2nd to last day...

UPDATE x2: OK, they resolved whatever the issue was a few hours ago:

We resolved the issues that prevented some from submitting applications. Visit http://t.co/eTfU7hSMWR and #GetCovered

UPDATE: HC.gov has added the following message on the home page:

There's still time to enroll in health coverage! If you start an application today, you might not be able to submit it right away because of some temporary systems issues that are preventing us from verifying your information. But you can still create an account, start an application and follow the steps. If you can’t submit your completed application, just save it. If you do, we'll make sure you can return later to finish and enroll for March 1 coverage. If you've submitted your application already, you can continue to select a plan and enroll today. Keep checking back for updates.

(sigh) Well, this kind of puts my final enrollment projection into perspective...

Consumers are having difficulty submitting their applications on Healthcare.gov just one day before the deadline, a Health Department official said Saturday.

"Some consumers have been unable to submit their application because their income is unable to be verified as a result of intermittent issues with external verification sources," a Department of Health and Human Services official said.

The official added that the department is working "hard" to resolve the issue.

"Any consumer who is trying to get covered ahead of the deadline for March 1 coverage will be able to do so," the official said.

The slight bump comes one day before the Feb. 15, deadline for people to sign up for health insurance through ObamaCare this year.

Assuming the issue isn't resolved quickly, this could put a damper on the final state exchange enrollments as well; as I just noted, here's what currently appears at the top of the Massachusetts Health Connector site:
